A reformed drug addict met his alcholic brother on the streets of sub-continent city of 15 million people, retells WEC Betel church planter Heath.

"I traveled with Lionel, an ex-addict originally from this city," Heath said.

"One evening we set out to get something to eat and almost in front of the hostel where we were staying we happened to spot Lionel's brother sleeping on the street."

"Burton, Lionel's brother, is also an addict and was in a very bad condition."

"Now that is some 'coincident in a city of 15 million people."

Heath and his team immediately sensed God's appointment and were able to take Burton back with them to the Betel centre, where he is now being cared for.

In a similar experience, Heath recently traveled to a country in North Asia, where his traveling companion happened to meet an old friend who was an alcoholic.

The friend wanted to join Betel's program in the country where Heath lives but he needed the airfare.

"This country is not wealthy country but miracles happen," Heath said.

"Somehow he scrapped together the money and he has now been alcohol free for four months and is opening his heart up to the Lord."

Meanwhile in Betel Italy, Australian WEC Betel church planter Steve Roberts reports that a former herion-addict from North Africa has reconciled with his family after they thought he was dead and had not spoken to him in 10 years.

"Ali entered Betel (Italy) almost on death's door and has been transformed by God, but he didn't have the courage to contact his family as he was ashamed of his past," Steve said.

When a Betel contact was able to visit Ali's hometown and pass on his phone number to his stunned parents, they called him to confirm he was their long-lost son.

"God really does make a complete job, restoration in the physical sense, the family and spiritually," Steve said.
